CyberPower Audio Editing Lab

When to use CyberPower Audio Editing Lab

Record a source, work on a selected waveform range and export an edited audio file. Choose the free audio editor when your task needs more than changing the file format.

The short answer

Use the editor for recording, cutting unwanted audio and applying available effects. For a batch that only needs another format, the audio converter offers a more direct queue-based workflow.

Capture and edit in the same workspace

Choose an available microphone, system-audio device or both in Record…. Finish with Stop & open to bring the recording into the waveform. The recording guide explains source selection and silence checks.

Change the part that actually needs editing

Select a range, preview it and then cut or apply an available effect. Use Undo if the change is wrong. This is useful for a mistaken sentence, unwanted intro or another local edit; it is more precise than converting the entire file to another extension.

Export a playable result

Use Convert / Export… for a new audio file and keep the original. A saved editor session and an exported MP3/WAV serve different purposes. Follow the editing and effects guide for the complete sequence.

For several finished files that need playing one after another, use Audio Convert Merge Free. The current editor and its supported exports are free; the app does not remove media protection.
