A: After you input a video file, the "Output Options" window will be activated where you can find detailed file information & specify the output format, bit rate, sample rate, volume, channel, etc.

Q 02: How to avoid the short breaks during the output audio playback?

A: Maybe you have set a smaller value for audio bit rate which is on the "Output Options" window activated after you input a video file. Please try larger one for it. Generally speaking, the default value we offer can assure a good result.

Q 03: What is the maximum duration for extraction with Audio Extractor for Free?

A: We suggest you not to make a single file too big because:

1. There's a technical limitation to the permitted maximum file size. This is imposed by the file system used on the hard drive. For example, in a FAT32 file system on Windows there is a 4GB limit. However, most computers these days are set up with NTFS file systems and no such limit is imposed.

2. There are many practical reasons why files of this big size and long duration are not helpful. It is difficult to edit a file of this big size and in fact it may lead to the failure of importing into multimedia editing software. Additionally, if the multimedia file needs to be sent to a third party (for example, as an email attachment), it may be barred by most mail servers due to its huge size.

Q 04: I just want a sound clip/segment of my video. Is it possible?

A: Of course. After you add the video to the program, drag the slider below the previewer on the right of the "Output Options" window to a point and click "Set Start" button to specify the start point. Then, drag the slider to another point as needed and click "Set End" to specify the end point. Now, the audio clip you want has been selected. It is necessary to check the "Cut clip" (After the extraction, the audio clip will be saved instead of the full-length audio file).

Q 05: How can I get MP3 files transferred to PSP?

A: Please just copy MP3 files into the "MUSIC" folder, one of the sub-folders under "PSP" folder. For example, if the removable drive number for your PSP is "F", please copy them into "F:\PSP\MUSIC". If you can not find it, please create such a path yourself.
